As blusinhas da Shein vão ficar mais caras? Um grupo de empresários apresentou uma série de denúncias contra plataformas que trazem produtos vindos da China para o Brasil — prática conhecida como cross border.
Dentre os denunciantes, estão o empresário Luciano Hang, dono da Havan, e o CEO da Multilaser, Alexandre Ostrowiecki.
Como os empresários também importam produtos made in China, eles dizem sofrer concorrência desleal de empresas como AliExpress, Wish, Shein, Shopee e Mercado Livre, que muitas vezes entregam produtos sem serem tributados.
O que os empresários querem? Alterações nas normas tributárias. Mais especificamente, que o consumidor pague impostos relativos à transação no momento da compra — e não só quando chegar à alfândega, se o órgão tributar.
E eles não estão sozinhos nessa. Há pelo menos outras três associações que apoiam a medida, incluindo fabricantes de brinquedos, de confecção e de eletrônicos.
Zoom Out: Não é de hoje que os empresários se queixam da concorrência desleal em relação aos produtos importados, principalmente da China, porém, com o crescimento do e-commerce, a situação parece ter se agravado — tem muita gente montando carrinho online na AliExpress.
